Wearing a Bike Helmet and Practicing CRM

While out riding our bikes this past weekend on our favorite paved trail, I noticed the vast number of people NOT wearing bike helmets. In some cases, the kids were, but the parents weren’t. A clear case of do as I say, not as I do. From experience I can tell you that even a slow motion fall, could cause hurt and harm; luckily for me I was wearing my helmet.  The cost of a simple bike helmet is $50 vs. the cost of an ER visit of $2,500 or more.

The comparison to practicing good CRM (Customer Relationship Management) – if you don’t consistently use it, it does you no good when you need it. How about if you don’t have it at all. Then what?

It’s human nature not to bother with the simple things, but when it comes to CRM or bike helmets, it’s the simplest things that save us the most.
