Gartner: CRM is a Top Application Software Investment Priority
In a large-scale IT spending study by Gartner, results confirmed that Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has taken the lead over Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as the top application software investment priority. This research further validates the trend in business to focus on enhancing the customer experience. The survey also presented that respondents’ top three application software investment initiatives for 2013 are CRM, ERP, and office and personal productivity tools.
Overall, Gartner has predicted modest increases in software spend worldwide from now until the end of 2013. However, developing countries such as Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia/Pacific are expected to experience the largest budget increases. Learn more here.
