What is CRM ?

CRM is defined as Customer Relationship Management.  I think a more useful definition is “Customized” Relationship Management.  All day long, in many aspects of our work and personal lives we are organizing and trying to keep track of our stuff.  The late George Carlin used to state in one of his comedy routines – “I just have too much stuff”. E-mail, post it notes, electronic notes, voice mail, to do lists … the lists go on and on. Organizing our “stuff”  in today’s world of electronic gadgets feels like it gets harder with each new release of technology.

For years personal digital assistances (PDAs) were all the rage.  Today, most people utilize their cell phones, computers and/or tablets to keep track of what they’re doing using a host of programs such as Evernote, Outlook, BaseCamp …  What’s limited in utilizing these approaches is the amount of history you can maintain and the ability to efficiently prioritize, manage and display the information.

What’s needed is a customizable, cross platform, digitized approach for managing  customer relationships. The newest, most cost effective product on the market addressing this need is W5Templates.  Using a time tested platform installed on most computers, Microsoft Excel, these templates easily allow you to manage your “stuff”.  For more information and a free downloadable trial, visit the web site: www.W5Templates.com.
